Altar Society This group cares for Altar cloths, vessels, vestments, etc. as well as keeping the Sanctuary and the Church clean and preparing flowers for the Altar. The group meets in the Church on Monday morning after Mass and new members are most welcome.

Divine
Mercy Prayer Group This group is based on the revelations to St. Faustina and also undertake to assist the poor in almsgiving through the Anglican Franciscans. The group meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.00pm in the Church and new members are warmly welcomed. There is also a second group who meet on Wednesday afternoons. The contact for both groups is Leonard Lane on 01355 242772 Welcome Committee (Passkeepers) This group has grown in numbers over the years but new members would still be welcomed. The duties are to welcome people as they enter the Church, to hand out the bulletin, to show people to seats when Church is busy, to take the collections and generally to help things run smoothly. If you would like to offer your time the contact is Joe Carlin. Bereavement Befrienders Group On the recommendations of the Parish Priest, members of this group visit those who have been bereaved. Two members normally visit to offer friendship and support but not counselling. A prayer card with contact phone number is provided. Meetings are held monthly in the Church House and new members are welcome. The group also organise an annual Mass during the month of November for the relatives of those who have died during the year. The contact person for this group is Ron Veitch. Altar Servers There is a growing number of altar servers in the Parish and not all are of schol age! If you would like to train to become an altar server please contact Maria Novani. St. Vincent de Paul Society The aim of this group is to follow the example of our patron. The group assist those in need, visit the sick and support the priest in any way they can. Meetings are held in the House on Tuesday evenngs at 7.30pm. Contact Eddie Reid for more information. Peace and Justice Group The aim of this group is to raise awareness of issues concerning peace and justice for those at home and in developing countries. The group is small and would welcome additional members. Meetings are arranged informally when issues arise. This group organises a Fairtrade stall during Advent and Lent when parishioners can support the work of our poorer brothers and sisters by paying a fairer price for their goods. Here you can see some of the members of the Parish who were doing a sponsored walk around the Heritage Loch to raise money and awareness of the plight of the people of Darfur. . Third World Group This group also works to assist our poorer brothers and sisters. They meet regularly and do fundraising for particular projects in developing countries.
